Barbara has been in the Real Estate Industry since 1990. (apart from a short stint as an agent in the late 70s which she gave up due to the constraints of two small children). After 4 years on the admin and Rental side Barbara became a full time agent which she enjoyed for a couple of years. However the pull of a more structured environment and a guaranteed salary was too great and she joined Maynard Burgoyne in 1996. Here initial duties were that of PA to the Director but her position has evolved over the years and she has been involved in sales and rental admin, advertising and marketing, as well as the organizing of all Company functions. Today her position of Branch manager is varied and interesting as she is there to assist agents in all aspects of their jobs as well as handling the creditors and salaries.
Apart from property, Barbara is passionate about travelling and has been on several overseas trips over the past 13 years. She also loves taking photos and makes books of her travels on her return. She lives in Bergvliet with her partner Colin and has 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
