I was born and brought up in East Africa which I left in 1969, having completed my high school education and a year-long secretarial course.
Since then I have lived and worked in Ireland, England and Botswana before settling in South Africa in 1981. Howick, KwaZulu Natal, has been home since 1987 where I have settled happily with my son Ian. I worked at the “Dunlop” factory for 27 years before joining Harcourts in November 2015.
