Back in 2013, due to a most unfortunate set of circumstances, I was forced to sell my house in Kenmare Extension 4 . The house was not in great shape and in need of attention but it had to go and fast. It just so happened that Harcourts had sold another house in the street and the board was still up. I took a photo on the way home in the evening and phoned the Harcourts agent, which happened to be Ann O'Gorman. Ann Promptly made and appointment and came to see me. She arrived precisely on time and had a look while I told my tale of woe. It was my opinion that I would not get a lot for the house and panicked about settling the bond. Ann reassured me that she would help us get a good price for the house and proceeded to take charge of the situation. Six weeks later my house was sold at the price Ann predicted and I managed to normalize my financial position. The professionalism, care and and assertiveness Ann displayed was quite literally, astounding and I've never experienced that level of commitment from any provider before then. Now, six years later and a very different set of circumstances and it happened again! Three weeks before we emigrate, my elderly mother in law tasked us with selling a property for her before we leave as she did not feel up to it and needed to get rid of it. Long story short, four days later we had two solid, signed, offers on the table. By the time we boarded our flight, the conveyance attorneys were well on their way with proceedings and we could breathe.It is almost impossible for to express in mere words my gratitude towards the Harcourts West Rand team, especially Anne, Jeanette and Shaun, but also every last member of a superb team.
