Johan and Lelet are loyal and dependable, from different backgrounds as a aircraft technician from Pretoria and a nurse from a farm in Parys.

They have one daughter Johalet in their marriage, Johan had one daughter Larissa in a previous marriage.

Johan and Lelet are grandparents of three granddaughters.
