My name is Tristan Pretorius and I would like to share my story of how I became a Harcourts Agent.

When I was younger my family use to tell me that “Property is the best thing you could ever own” and whilst in school I didn’t realise how important that statement was…

I went to college to study mechanical engineering between the years of 2015 right up until 2017, and while I had a lot of fun along the way I felt that I wanted something more. From there I worked a few jobs with family members and started doing research into properties. As time went on, I started to realise that I spent most of my time looking at what new properties were on the market, reading up on the buying process and wanting to purchase property of my own, then I thought to myself… what’s the best way to acquire this knowledge? Become a Real Estate Specialist, and that has been my goal ever since.

I started my journey with Harcourts and couldn’t be happier with the team that took me in and made me a part of their family. I’m now being mentored by Jackie Johnson who has helped fast track my career and showed me that our clients are everything. Everyone looks at being an estate agent is just about selling properties but it’s so much more than that, we are dealing with peoples goals and dreams… servicing them and their loved ones with their dream homes or purchasing properties as assets.

I might still be a fresh face in the agency but I’m driven by good service and happy clients and I look forward to the journey ahead.
