Potchefstroom, fondly referred to as Potch, looks like a beautiful country town yet feels like a lively energetic town. LOCATION:
Potch is close to the Vaal River and forms the border between the North-West Province and the Free State.  It is a 90-minute drive from Gauteng making it close enough for businesspeople to travel during the week and retreat from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg over weekends to relax and enjoy the beauty and culture of Potchefstroom with friends and family.

The Vredefort Dome is the oldest and largest meteorite site, captivated by breathtakingly beautiful scenery.   It is being proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers an incredible 4X4 eco trail experience as well as hiking trails and nature getaways 
Camping holidays or day trips to the Potchefstroom Dam resort offer fishing and water sports to be enjoyed with friends and family 
Don't miss out on the Snow Flake Market in the Old Flour Mill hosted on the 1st weekend of every month 
The Potch Spring Festival takes place during the 1st week of September 
Not to be missed, the Aardklop National Annual Arts Festival takes place every October as does the Dragon Boat Race, which is a CANSA fundraising event, another popular annual event is the Mooirivier Christmas Market, which takes place from the end of November to the middle of December.
