The 18 equipped boreholes output is pumped into a large cement reservoir (+/-300 000lt) at the rate of 130 000lt per hour. The house is a neat 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom dwelling, set in a garden that typifies the regions flora, but with green lawns interspersed. A paved drive leads to the butchery building, thatched entertainment lapa, outdoor braai and fire-pit. There are 3 one and two bedroom thatched units with their own bathrooms, for guests. The complex is serviced with a separate laundry building. The whole housing area is fenced and gated for security. The farm manager feeds the resident game between the house and a quarry watering hole. This allows the homestead residents the opportunity to view and enjoy wild animals within meters of the fence line. Past agricultural activity can be seen with the shade cloth areas for growing peppers (2-3 hectare). These do however require maintenance. Crops that have and are being cultivated include watermelons, and butternuts. Pumpkins is the main crop and peppers have been planted in the past. The farm Hardekool can be used for vegetable crops, game or livestock. Sufficient water allows for some diversity in crop rotation. The area is isolated, for those seeking solitude. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the bush-veld are a guarantee.
