Productivity on Boplaas consists of 1,8ha vineyards from which the farm’s own wine is made in their winery, the Wine Barn, an original long barn; 6,8ha purple figs, picked and packed on the farm; 1,1ha limes; 19ha irrigated winter grains; organic vegetables grown in a magnificent walled garden, supplying the manor house and the farm kitchens. The property has a 10ha game fenced camp, 12ha of arable dry-land, and a flock of pasture-raised sheep. Farm hens roam the gardens and supply the kitchens with eggs.

Boplaas is entitled to an annual registered water allocation of 166 260 m3, derived from the Limiet River (51 450 m3) and groundwater (114 810m3) - taken from five boreholes. Water is also stored in cement reservoirs, Jo-Jo tanks and earthen dams (which are stocked with Bass and Tilapia for catch-and-release fishing).

Electricity is supplied by Eskom.

Infrastructure on the farm, besides all the housing, includes a wine cellar, tasting room and store room (in the old long barn); packing shed with cold room; licensed poultry abattoir and fowl run; office complex with staff utilities; open implement shed; workshop and storage rooms; three staff cottages; hay storage barn and sheep pens.

Boplaas is owned by a registered VAT vendor and is available for sale as a going concern for R40 million.
