The space
This well-equipped 6 bedroom en-suite easy going yet stylish upmarket holiday home, has generous open plan living & dining areas with a spacious elevated timber deck offering spectacular ocean & mountain views.
The home has solar and back up battery power to run essential circuits during power outages to ensure the home is safe, lit and caters for all major needs during power outages or load shedding.
The large outdoor entertainment spaces include a sparkling pool, a pergola lounge area with day bed, various AL Fresco dining experiences, sun decks with loungers and a built-in gas and mobile wood barbeques/braais & conversation area. These areas spill onto the landscaped indigenous garden.
The house is equipped with fans, flat-screen satellite TV, gas heaters, wood fireplace & ample on-site and overflow street-side parking. The relaxed lounge and bar spill out onto the deck and heated pool ensuring your connected with the outdoor experience at all times.
Amenities include a recently updated and fully equipped kitchen with all mod-cons, two ovens with both gas and electric hobs, air fryer, coffee machine and a separate scullery & laundry room. For the more adventurous home chef there is a large mobile wood pizza oven. The bar is equipped with an ice machine and separate drinks fridge and wine cooler.
The ground floor level offers two bedrooms en-suite for ease of access for those preferring not to use stairs. While the four large bedrooms en-suite on the first-floor level offer enhanced soothing panoramic views and balcony areas to relax and tan.
Children are welcome, please note the pool is open & unprotected and therefore accessible at all times and the children will be the responsibility of parents or guardians of said children.

The Market Square & Plettenburg Mall shopping centres are just a 2-minute walk from the house. While the town centre is 1.2 km away offering the villages variety of bustling shopping, dining and entertainment experiences.
Poortjies lagoon is just 5 minute’s walk away and the famous Lookout Beach with its nearby restaurants just a 10 minute stroll.
Housekeeping is provided once a week with the option of additional weekday housekeeping arrangements.

Guest access
Access is via the main gate accessed using a remote to open it off Beacon Way. There is also an alternative pedestrian gate if needed. There is ample onsite secure parking and even more on the paved area outside the main gate. The main part of the home including all reception rooms and the pool deck is on a single level, including 2 bedrooms, with the other 4 bedrooms located upstairs.
Everything is on 1 level, making it family friendly and easily accessible for the less mobile.
Other things to note
Plettenberg Bay and the surrounding area have so much to offer. Don't forget to try out the famous restaurants like Nineteen89, The Fat Fish for ocean delights. Slops for a casual Pizza and bit of a vibe, while seaside dining is a must at Lookout for a light bite or the Grand for something just like its namesake. Barrington's and the Palm's offer different dining and socializing experiences. Enrico's at Keursboomstrand 10 minutes away is an Italian institution not to be missed but go early as it’s a very popular spot. There is no shortage of fine dining restaurants too for that special occasion, such as Emily Moon offering a unique setting and dining experience. Then varied dining experiences can be found further afield at the markets and destination restaurants and dining offerings in Knysna too.
There are a number of markets such as Old Nicks and Haarkerville and bespoke retail and funs places to be discovered. These include fresh local produce markets, homemade and organic delights, hand made goods and clothing.
Swimming beaches abound along the pristine coastline, with Lookout beach being a first port of call. While talking a long walk along this beach look out for the rare pansy shell. Central beach is popular adjacent the Beacon Isle and a favourite for younger kids with umbrellas and loungers often available to hire too. Boat action and the daily catches from the fishing charters can be seen at Hobbie Beach. The famous Robberg beaches stretch for miles with Robberg 5 being the place to be seen. Further afield quieter spots like the Solar beach, the Wedge beach and Sanctuary are perfect for an evening stroll and swim. Poortjies lagoon is ideal for calm waters and water sports and fun for the kids.
Many more outings and activities are on offer, from the local wine farms and vineyards such as Bramon and Newstead, animal sanctuaries, Robberg nature trails and surrounding forest walks, mountain biking trails, kayaking tours, deep sea fishing, kids adventure centres and for the brave sky diving and paragliding. There is always something to see, do or explore for every taste or interest you may have along the garden route, with Plett being the ideal location to explore from.
The home is secure, with ample on site and overflow street parking and has solar and backup power. The entire ground floor is on a single level offering ease of access for families and the less mobile to 2 bedrooms, all receptions areas, dining, kitchen and the deck.
