Snuggled between the Onrus Mountains and the whitecaps of the seaboard, lies the coastal picturesque hamlet of Vermont (Green Mountain). The town fathers of Vermont were very adamant about not wanting to destroy the exceptional character which all residents and frequent visitors love and placed a moratorium on the future exploiting of the town by too many commercial projects. The town must be one of the most closely guarded secrets of the Overberg, which means that the flora and fauna stay protected, the magic lives on, and the locals are a friendly, welcoming and hospitable people.
